Cornfield Terrace

A Grade II listed shop in Eastbourne, restored and converted to a solicitors office. The project involved extensive remedial works to the internal and external fabric with the addition of a new shopfront.  A large glazed window allows for visual connection from the the reception through to the meeting room and rear office.  

Glazed pods for 7 solicitors are designed to fit into a narrow rear extension utilising sky lights to enhance the spatial quality of what was previously a dark and oppressive space.  All the main storage and archiving is efficiently located along a central corridor, maximising the space within each pod and providing visual interest along the circulation zone.  Bespoke furniture and fittings designed by Poroban.
